SIDM conducted a Strategic Brain Storming Session on the subject of “Impetus to Indigenisation 2024” and the invitation for attendance was extended to the SMPP Executive Director, Mr. Ashish Kansal who is holding a pivotal position in the SIDM. The event was attended by a very selective Group of senior officials from the MoD and renowned intellectuals from the industry. CDS, Gen Anil Chauhan and the Defence Secretary, Mr Giridhar Aramane were amongst the eminent personalities who attended the event.
 
The suggestions and contributions of Mr Ashish were appreciated for inclusion in the Government policies for giving a Philip to the indigenisation for achieving Atmanirbharta in Defence production.
