SMPP exhibited its latest products at the IDEX Exhibition in Abu Dhabi in Feb 2019. The underlying theme was “Protecting Those who Protect Us”.

Among the new products, SMPP displayed its multi hit next generation hard armor plate that could stop multiple rifle ammunition. The plate on display defeated 20 shots of AK47 in a laboratory ballistics test.

Among other products, SMPP displayed its built-to-print capability for helicopter and platform armor. Several companies and end users from the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey and other middle eastern nations evinced key interest in partnering with SMPP for armor solutions.
