He has been the associated with the test and evaluation of critical armament stores including weapons and ammunition for armour and artillery of Indian Army for a period of 38 years. He served as the Director of PXE Chandipur for more than 3 years. He is considered as an authority in the field of experimental ballistics and in the field of test and evaluation.
He has visited various proof ranges of the world and has rich experience in the field.
He is the recipient of DRDO technology award, Scientist of the year award and most recently the Silicon Trophy for leading his lab for the best performance in the year 2006.
